Our instructor, Rob Fish, entered the Fluid Power Industry in
1977, and began teaching "Hydraulics" courses in 1982.
Rob earned
the Fluid Power Society's "Fluid Power Specialist" certification
in 1987.
Rob taught a "Basic Hydraulics" class at Eastland Vocational
School in Columbus, Ohio, and created his own "Basic
Hydraulics" course to
meet the needs of companies with six or more employees in need of basic
hydraulic training
Rob's specialty is desigining and troubleshooting hydraulic systems.,
One of his fluid power systems was featured in the August, 1993 edition
of "Hydraulics & Pneumatics" magazine.
Recognizing that the vast majority of people who work with hydraulics do
not design hydraulic systems, Rob created the "Hydraulic Boot
Camp," a
one-day, easy-to-understand "Basic Hydraulics" course that focuses
on keeping your hydraulics
operating longer between breakdowns and reducing the amount of time it
takes to trouble shoot hydraulic problems when a breakdown occurs.
